Overview
Embark on a journey through Tanzania's premier northern destinations and the
lesser-visited southern regions, renowned for their pristine wildlife and
breathtaking landscapes. Begin your adventure in Tarangire National Park, famous
for its vast elephant herds, followed by the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, often
hailed as the 8th wonder of the natural world. Conclude with the Serengeti
National Park’s rich wildlife and the remote Selous Game Reserve, offering an
exclusive experience away from the crowds. Accommodations include intimate,
personalized tented camps, luxury lodges, and one of the finest luxury tented

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will be greeted by our
representative. Enjoy a brief safari briefing during the transfer to your hotel in

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast and check-out, depart for Tarangire National Park, renowned for
its large elephant herds and iconic Baobab trees. Enjoy a game drive en-route to
your lodge, arriving in time for lunch. The park’s Tarangire River is a vital water
source, especially during the dry season. Tarangire is also home to over 500 bird

Day 3: Full Day in Tarangire National Park
Enjoy a full day of game drives at your leisure, with the option of packed lunches
for a more extended safari experience. Tarangire is notable for its high

Day 4: Tarangire National Park to Karatu
After an early morning game drive and breakfast, check-out and travel to the
Karatu area. Arrive at your lodge for lunch and explore this vibrant town, which
serves as the gateway to the Ngorongoro Highlands. Meals and overnight at

Day 5: Full Day in Ngorongoro Crater
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day tour with a picnic lunch.
Experience the unique ecosystem of the crater floor, home to diverse wildlife and

Day 6: Karatu to Serengeti National Park
Depart early for Serengeti National Park, stopping at the Olduvai Gorge, a
significant archaeological site. Enjoy a picnic lunch en-route and an afternoon
game drive upon arrival. Serengeti’s diverse habitats support a rich variety of
species, including the famed annual migration. Dinner and overnight at Kubu
Kubu Tented Lodge (AI)
Days 7 & 8: Full Days in Serengeti National Park
Explore the Northern Serengeti with unlimited game drives. Opt for extended
morning drives with picnic breakfasts or full-day drives with packed lunches. Enjoy
the park’s vast landscapes and rich wildlife. Meals and overnight at Kubu Kubu
Tented Lodge (AI)
Day 9: Serengeti National Park to Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous Game Reserve)
After breakfast, transfer to Seronera Airstrip for a flight to Nyerere National Park.
A packed lunch will be provided for this long journey. Upon arrival, enjoy your
first afternoon game drive in this vast reserve, known for its diverse landscapes
and abundant wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Rufiji River Camp (FB)
Days 10 & 11: Full Days in Selous Game Reserve
Relax at the camp with breakfast and lunch provided. Explore the reserve with
early morning and late afternoon game drives. Enjoy a boat safari on the Rufiji
River and experience the luxury of Selous’ premier camp. Meals and overnight at
Rufiji River Camp (FB)
Day 12: Departure
After a leisurely breakfast, transfer to the Selous airstrip for your flight to Dar es
Salaam, departing at 15:25 and arriving at 16:40. Connect to your international
flight home, carrying unforgettable memories of your Tanzanian adventure.
